Terms of Service

Effective 7 October 2026 · Applies to HUBx (hubxconnect.com).

Plain-language summary. These Terms are written in plain English so they are easy to read. They describe how HUBx works and what you agree to when you use it. They are not a substitute for legal advice to you as an individual, and HUBx recommends that you consult your own legal advisor if you have questions.

1. Accepting these Terms

By creating an account, browsing, posting, uploading, applying to a job, or otherwise using any part of HUBx, you agree to these Terms and to our Content Policy and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you use HUBx on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to accept these Terms for that company.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your password safe. Do not share your account with anyone. Notify us immediately at mohamedabdalaty63@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, break the Content Policy, or use the platform in a way that harms others or the platform itself.

3. What you can do on the platform

HUBx gives you access to:

A public knowledge base of construction field guides, templates, checklists, and reference material.
A professional profile where you can publish your experience, projects, certifications, and skills.
A feed where you can post updates, images, and react to other people's posts.
A jobs section, including job listings and applications submitted to verified HR accounts.
Tools, calculators, material price tracking, and other utilities.
A messaging system for one-to-one conversations between users.

4. Your content

You keep full ownership of everything you upload or post. By publishing content on HUBx, you grant HUBx a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating the platform. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we are required to retain it by law or where a copy has been shared by other users.

You confirm that you have the right to publish everything you upload, that it does not infringe anyone else's rights, and that it does not breach the Content Policy.

We may remove any content that violates these Terms or the Content Policy, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

5. Jobs, applications, and HR accounts

Some users can request verification as an HR representative of a company. When verified, they can post jobs on the platform and receive applications.

HUBx verifies that the person requesting HR status appears to hold a real HR role, but does not verify the accuracy of every job posting, the legitimacy of the company, the terms of employment, or the good faith of the recruiter. Job seekers must perform their own due diligence before accepting any offer, sharing personal information, or paying any fee. HUBx does not charge job seekers any fee and will never ask for payment to apply to a job.

6. What you must not do

In addition to the prohibitions in the Content Policy, you must not:

Attempt to access another user's account or private data.
Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or mass-download content from the platform.
Reverse-engineer, bypass, or interfere with the security, moderation, or access controls of the platform.
Use the platform to send unsolicited commercial messages (spam).
Copy or resell any part of the platform or its content as your own product.
Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or professional credentials.

7. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep HUBx available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The platform may be unavailable during maintenance, upgrades, or outages. We may add, change, or remove features at any time, with or without notice.

8. Disclaimers

HUBx is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Engineering and construction content on the platform — including field guides, templates, checklists, calculators, and AI-generated material — is provided for general reference only. It is not a substitute for the professional judgement of a qualified engineer, and it must be independently verified before being used for any real construction, safety, or contractual decision.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HUBx disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HUBx and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising from your use of the platform or from content posted by other users.

10. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold harmless HUBx and its operators from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from content you posted, from your use of the platform, or from your breach of these Terms or the Content Policy.

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time from your settings page, or by emailing mohamedabdalaty63@gmail.com. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you breach these Terms, the Content Policy, or if we are legally required to do so.

12. Disputes

If you have a concern or a dispute with HUBx, please contact us first at mohamedabdalaty63@gmail.com so we can try to resolve it in good faith. We will do our best to respond promptly and to find a fair solution.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of HUBx after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
