Content Policy

Effective 7 October 2026 · Applies to HUBx (hubxconnect.com) and all its subdomains.

HUBx is a professional network for the global construction industry. It exists so engineers, technicians, surveyors, safety officers, project managers and other construction professionals can share knowledge, publish field guides, post jobs, apply to jobs, and build a verifiable professional identity.

To keep the platform safe, professional, and legally usable for everyone, we do not allow certain categories of content. This page tells you what is not allowed, how we enforce it, and how you can report it.

1. What is not allowed

The following categories of content are prohibited. This list is not exhaustive — anything that a reasonable person would consider unprofessional, unsafe, or harmful to others may also be removed.

Pornography, nudity, or sexual content of any kind, including suggestive imagery, sexualised language, or links to adult material.
Content that sexualises minors in any form. This is reported to the appropriate authorities without exception.
Hate speech and discrimination targeting any person or group on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age.
Harassment, threats, or bullying, including targeted insults, doxxing, and coordinated abuse against a person or group.
Political propaganda, campaigning, or partisan organising. HUBx is not a political platform. You may not use it to promote a candidate, party, ideology, or political movement.
Graphic violence, gore, or content that glorifies self-harm or harm to others.
Content that promotes or facilitates illegal activity, including fraud, bribery, corruption, money laundering, or drug trafficking.
Spam, scams, phishing, and misleading claims, including fake job postings, fake certificates, and fraudulent offers.
Copyrighted material posted without permission — including drawings, photos, documents, and text you did not create and do not have the right to publish.
Personal data of others without their consent — including phone numbers, addresses, identification documents, and private correspondence.
Impersonation — pretending to be another person, company, or authority.
Malware, executable files, and harmful code disguised as documents or images.

2. How we enforce this policy

Every image and text upload is scanned by an automated content-moderation system before it is made visible on the platform. Anything the system flags is held for human review.

Depending on the severity and the pattern, we may take one or more of the following actions:

Remove the content.
Hide the content from public view while it is under review.
Warn you and require you to correct the content.
Temporarily suspend your account.
Permanently ban your account and revoke all active sessions.
Report the content and your account details to the appropriate authorities, where the law requires it.

We may take any of these actions without prior notice. Serious violations — especially anything involving minors, credible threats of violence, or coordinated fraud — will be enforced immediately and permanently.

3. Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for everything you upload, post, comment, or share on HUBx. By uploading content, you confirm that:

You own the content, or you have the legal right to share it.
The content does not violate anyone else's rights, including copyright, trademark, and privacy.
The content does not fall into any of the prohibited categories above.
The content is accurate to the best of your knowledge, especially where it presents itself as a professional, technical, or safety-related claim.

HUBx is a place for professional discussion and does not verify the technical accuracy of user contributions. Engineering, construction, and safety decisions must always be made by a qualified professional after independent verification.

4. How to report content

If you see content that violates this policy, report it. You can use the Report button wherever it appears on the platform, or email us directly:

Report content or abuse
mohamedabdalaty63@gmail.com
Please include the URL of the content, a short description, and a screenshot if possible. Reports are confidential, and you will not be identified to the person you are reporting.

5. Appeals

If your content was removed or your account was restricted and you believe it was a mistake, you may appeal by emailing the same address within 30 days. Include the URL or content reference and a short explanation. We will review the original decision and reply with our conclusion.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform grows. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of HUBx after a change means you accept the updated policy.
